1. General Cancellation Terms
RushCarz allows customers to cancel their self-drive car booking under specific guidelines. All customers are expected to read and understand these conditions before booking.
✅ Cancellations 48+ Hours Before Trip Start:
- A 30% cancellation fee will be charged.
- The remaining amount will be refunded within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
❌ Cancellations Within 48 Hours:
- No refund will be provided.
- This applies even in the event of emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.
2. Last-Minute Cancellation (Zero Refund Scenarios)
The following are considered non-refundable bookings, and no amount will be returned under these conditions:
- Failure to produce valid original ID proofs during pickup (Driving License, Aadhar, etc.)
- Renter is found under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of pickup.
- Cancellation or modification requests within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time.
- Early return of the vehicle before the scheduled drop time.
3. Modifications and Date Changes
- Requests to reschedule or modify a booking must be made at least 48 hours before the start time.
- Any changes made within 48 hours will be treated as cancellations, and 30% of the total fare will be deducted.
- Changes within 24 hours are not allowed and fall under zero refund policy.
4. Delays and No-Shows
- Delayed pickup will not adjust the rental duration. Your time is counted from the scheduled booking start time.
- If the customer does not show up at the pickup location and fails to inform the support team, the booking will be marked as No-Show, and no refund will be provided.
5. Refund Method & Timeline
- Eligible refunds (where applicable) will be processed back to the original payment source.
- Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
- RushCarz is not responsible for any delays caused by payment gateways or banking institutions.
6. Important Notes
- Partial refunds are not provided for early return of the car or unused booking hours.
- Extra FASTag balance or excess fuel in the car will not be considered for refund.

7. Exceptions
RushCarz reserves the right to waive or modify cancellation charges in genuine emergency cases, subject to management approval. This is strictly discretionary and not guaranteed.
