1. Insurance Coverage
RushCarz provides insurance support for its fleet of self-drive cars, but customers are responsible for certain costs depending on the nature and extent of the damage.
✔️ Standard Inclusions:
- Basic insurance coverage is included in your rental.
- This helps in reducing the renter’s liability in case of minor accidental damages.
- The coverage is valid only if all traffic rules and our rental terms are strictly followed.
2. Customer Responsibility for Damages
The renter is financially responsible for any damage, as outlined below:
🔧 Damages Less Than ₹30,000
- To be entirely borne by the customer.
- Charges will be applied as per official showroom estimates at the time of vehicle drop-off.
🔧 Damages Above ₹30,000
- Customer must pay:
- Depreciation amount of ₹25,000/-
- Insurance claim difference (if any)
- Half of the rental fee for the time vehicle remains under repair at the showroom.
3. Zero Insurance Coverage (No Claim Cases)
The renter is not eligible for any insurance claim in the following cases. Full repair cost must be paid by the customer:
- Violation of traffic rules
- Rash or negligent driving
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Driver with less than 1 year of 4-wheeler experience, especially in hilly regions
- Off-road usage of vehicle
- Unauthorized repairs at local garages or non-approved service centers
4. Repair Guidelines
- All damages must be repaired only at authorized service centers.
- Unauthorized or self-arranged repairs will result in:
- ₹10,000 penalty plus the cost of actual damages.
- Internal damages like vomit, stains, or odor may incur a cleaning charge of ₹1,500.
5. Towing & Breakdown
- In case of breakdown or accident, the renter must not tamper with any parts.
- Do not attempt self-repair or towing.
- The customer is responsible for:
- Towing charges
- Any legal or police procedures required to retrieve or transport the vehicle to the service center
6. Fuel, Fastag & Consumables
- Extra fuel remaining in the car is non-refundable.
- FASTag recharges beyond what is used during the trip are not claimable.
- Over-speeding will incur a fine of ₹500 per violation based on vehicle type:
- Manual: 110 km/h
- AMT: 110 km/h
- Automatic: 100 km/h
7. Vehicle Condition Before and After Trip
- Renter must take clear photos and videos of:
- Exterior (including wheels, tyres, bumper, etc.)
- Interior (dashboard, seats, etc.)
- These records help in any insurance claim or dispute resolution.
8. Misuse of Vehicle
Strictly prohibited activities include:
- Using the car for commercial purposes without written consent (e.g., sub-rental, shooting, ride-sharing)
- Carrying pets or commercial goods
- Smoking or drinking inside the car (Penalty: ₹10,000)
