1. Documentation Requirements
To rent a vehicle from RushCarz, customers must present the following original documents at the time of pickup:
- A valid government-issued Driving License (minimum 1 year of experience required)
- Aadhaar Card (or equivalent ID proof)
- Working ID Card (if applicable)
Failure to provide original documents will result in immediate cancellation of the booking without refund.
2. Vehicle Usage Guidelines
- No Alcohol or Drug Use: Customers found under the influence at the time of pickup will face immediate booking cancellation with zero refund.
- No Smoking, Drinking, or Illegal Substances allowed inside the vehicle. Violation will result in a ₹10,000 penalty.
- No Pets or Commercial Goods may be transported unless approved in advance.
- No Unauthorized Commercial Use (e.g., sub-renting, filming, ride-sharing) without written approval.
3. Vehicle Condition and Inspection
- Customers must inspect the vehicle thoroughly (including tires, battery, and bodywork) and take photos/videos before accepting delivery.
- Any existing damage must be reported before leaving the pickup location.
- Upon drop-off, any additional damages not previously reported will be charged to the renter.
4. Pickup and Drop-off Timing
- Delays in pickup are not accounted for; time is calculated from the scheduled start time.
- Drop-off delays without prior notice will incur a ₹2,000 penalty. Notify customer support at +91-08069328760 for extensions.
- For doorstep deliveries, timing depends on driver availability and city traffic. Charges apply only from the time of vehicle handover.
5. Maintenance and Repair Policy
- Do not attempt to repair the car or replace any parts without explicit permission.
- All repairs must be done only at authorized service centers. Unauthorized repairs will result in a ₹10,000 penalty, plus repair costs.
6. Cleanliness and Fuel Policy
- Return the vehicle in a clean condition. Soiling, odors, vomit, or stains will attract a ₹1,500 cleaning fee.
- Excess fuel at the time of return will not be eligible for refund.
- FASTag recharges beyond usage will not be refunded.
7. Payment and Refunds
- Full rental payment must be made before vehicle delivery.
- Early drop-off will not be eligible for a refund.
- All rental prices are calculated per hour or per day, as per package chosen.
8. Overspeeding Policy
- Overspeeding will be fined at ₹500 per violation.
- Speed Limits:
- Manual Transmission: 110 km/h
- Automatic Transmission (AT): 100 km/h
- AMT: 110 km/h
9. Cancellation Policy
- Failure to bring required documents or being under the influence at pickup = No Refund.
- 48+ hours before trip: 30% cancellation fee.
- Less than 48 hours: Zero refund.
- Alterations within 48 hours will also incur a 30% charge.
- Within 24 hours of pickup: No modifications, zero refund policy applies.
10. Insurance & Damage Responsibility
- Damages under ₹30,000: Paid by customer based on authorized service center estimates.
- Damages over ₹30,000:
- ₹25,000 depreciation
- Insurance shortfall + 50% of rental value for repair period
- No insurance coverage if damage caused by:
- Violation of traffic laws
- Drunk driving
- Less than 1 year of driving experience (in hills)
- Off-road driving
Note: In such cases, the entire damage, towing, and legal costs must be paid by the renter.
11. Legal and Liability
- RushCarz and Nicolix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. are not liable for:
- Delays due to unforeseen events
- Actions of third-party services (e.g., traffic police, toll operators)
- Loss of personal belongings inside the car
